IMPORTANT - Read the entire instructions before proceeding. If any of it does not make sense or is not in your skillset, please have an experienced technician perform the install.
- Remove the left (clutch side) side panel from your sled and locate the diagnostic port. (See image 1 on next page)
- Plug the black power junction box into the diagnostic port, plug one end of the supplied HDMI cable into the black junction box, and the other end to the back of the Bully Dog GT.
- Next, locate the wires with gator clips on the end of them. Connect the red & black gator clips to a 12v battery (use your sled’s battery if you have an electric start). Plug the white connector end of the alligator clips into the white connector near the diagnostic port labeled ECM PWR.

IMPORTANT - Make sure the key and kill switch button are in the off position Having the key on could turn on your factory gauge cluster and interrupt tuning
**You must have the switch on the supplied black power box set to BATT. On snowmobiles, this switch will ALWAYS stay on BATT even after programming and just using the unit for gauges**
***If your model has GPS, be sure to unplug it before programming*** -
With the black box switch set to BATT, the power jumper wire hooked up, your GT should be powered on. Select Menu > Tuning > Install Custom Tuning > Hold Down Arrow until the bottom > Agree > Continue > Custom Tuning> Download Custom Tune to Vehicle > Highlight Desired Tune > Select.
*DO NOT DISRUPT POWER OR START THE MACHINE WHILE PROGRAMMING* - During programming, the display will read Import, configure, then downloading (0-100%). Let the unit run through these steps until it says finished. At this point disconnect the gator clip power jumper and now you are ready to ride!
- Enjoy more power, better throttle response, and the many features built into this Bully Dog GT programmed by BMP!
Uninstall Tuning: Do you need to uninstall your tune and return the vehicle back to factory default? Simply go to Menu > Tuning > Uninstall Device. This will walk you through the process of installing the factory tune and unlocking the GT from your vehicle.
